One of Arizona Western’s best point guard prospects in Reese Sellers has signed with the University of Northwestern. This signing is a steal for the University of Northwestern as Sellers is an elite floor general who makes big time plays. Her play caught my attention her junior year in a first round playoff game against Coolidge.

Sellers was the game changer as she just took over. Coolidge’s defense had a hard time containing her penetration towards the paint, and ability to set up her teammates for scoring opportunities. She would finish with 22 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 steals, and 1 block. After that performance in the playoffs, her recruiting stock started to rise.

She had a decorated senior year where she averaged 17.2 points/game, 3.9 assists/game, 2.9 rebounds/game, and 3.7 steals/game. Sellers led her team to the 3A West Regional Championship and a Quarterfinal finish in the 3A State Tournament. She is hands down one of the best prospects produced by Western Arizona. I am excited to see her continue her basketball career at the next level.
