The GC3 Hoops Staff has been hard at work behind the scenes. One of the goals of the GC3 Hoops platform is to grow the game of basketball. One of the opportunities that we created is a Coaches Clinic. The first GC3 Hoops Clinic will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Mesa High School.
The Clinic will start at 6pm and conclude at 7:30pm. The keynote speaker will be Ganon Baker. Baker is one of the most respected skills development gurus in the business as he spent time playing overseas in Iceland, coaching at the division 1 and 2 levels, coaching globally in 50 different countries and 6 continents, spent 13 years working with Nike’s Player Development, and trained numerous WNBA and NBA Champions.
The opening guest speaker will be Anthony Ray of Arizona Preps. Anthony has been a fixture in Arizona basketball as he has been one of the top scouts in Arizona and the West Coast. Anthony has been instrumental in assisting hundreds of student athletes attaining opportunities to play at the next level.
Why should coaches attend this clinic? This is an opportunity for professional development in touching on the current state of the college recruitment process and learning new strategies for player development. Ganon and Anthony have close to 50 years combined professional experience in their specialties and concentrations in the basketball industry.
