Kailer Tsingine-Reid has been one of the 2023 classes top under the radar prospects. She averaged 13.4 points/game, 4.7 rebounds/game, 2 assists/game, and 2.2 steals/game her senior year. Tsingine-Reid is a three level scorer who will compete at the shooting guard position. Unfortunately, she is still rehabbing from a knee injury but will sign and redshirt at Mesa Community College.
I was able to talk to her High School Coach Kim Williams, and this is what Coach Williams had to say about Kailer, “Kailer was a doer. She did everything that was asked of her on the court, and made it a priority. Kailer never hesitated to take on an assignment and loved to work hard. Kailer was disciplined to commit to put in the extra work in the off-season. She is a pace-setter who played unselfish with a fierce tenacity on both ends of the floor. One of the qualities I admire about her is her humility because she put the team before herself and took responsibility for our short-falls.”
Mesa Community College has been putting together a successful signing class. Coach Kori Stephenson has done a phenomenal job year in and year out keeping her team competitive in the tough ACCAC. Tsingine-Reid will add toughness to the backcourt and I am excited to watch her compete at the next level.
