Salpointe Catholic ultra talented wing 2025 6-1 Wing Taliyah Henderson’s stock has caught on fire during the Spring Live Period. Holding offers from Utah, ASU, BYU, San Diego, Grand Canyon and Utah Valley, Henderson is quickly showing her vast improvement to propel her to the elite-high major status. Most recently, Louisville, TCU, Boston College, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Harvard, Florida State, and Arizona pulled the offer trigger. Playing with one of the top independent teams in AZ Supreme, her coaches Jaamal Rhodes and Jeremy Daniels know how to get it done with their players’ college recruitment by playing in the top viewing events and being proactive by communicating with scouts and college coaches.

“Taliyah is making progress. She isn’t afraid to put the work in. We are focused on her improving her IQ, ball handling and shooting. She is just as determined as we are to grow her skill set,” Coach Rhodes. Henderson is an intriguing prospect as her athleticism is superhuman. A three level scorer, she knows how to bully smaller and weaker opponents. Defensively, she is very active on the glass, uses her athleticism to lock down opponents, and quick enough to disrupt passing lanes to create transition offensive opportunities.

Henderson’s recruiting will continue to heat up into the Summer. I am excited to follow her career as I anticipate her having a big junior season with Salpointe this high school season. Salpointe will be a strong contender in the AIA playoffs this season with the 1-2 punch of Henderson and Forward Hannah Williams.
