Nine players earned “Hammah” recognition after standing out during Thursday night action at the GC3 Hoops Iron 8 Fall League.
The GC3 Hoops Iron 8 Fall League continued on Thursday, September 3, with another competitive night of fall basketball featuring programs from across Arizona.
Each week, GC3 Hoops recognizes players who separate themselves with their effort, competitiveness, toughness and overall impact on the floor. In Hawai‘i, calling someone a “hammah” is a high compliment. It describes someone who brings the grit, work ethic, toughness or talent needed to get the job done.
These nine players earned recognition as the GC3 Hoops Iron 8 Thursday Hammahz for September 3.

Being named a Hammah is not simply about scoring the most points. It is about competing, playing with toughness, impacting winning and bringing the type of effort that stands out when the game gets difficult.
The Iron 8 Fall League gives players an opportunity to develop, compete and build momentum heading toward the high school season while also giving GC3 Hoops another opportunity to evaluate emerging prospects throughout Arizona.
