Happy 2024 to all of my followers. I would like to thank you all for your love and support over these years. That support has helped make the GC3 Hoops Platform one of the most respected and reputable women’s basketball exposure platforms on the West Coast. In 2023, we were able to cover talent in Hawaii, California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Washington, and Oregon.
Events that I got to evaluate talent in 2023 includes the Gems in the Gym’s Myles McGowan Classic (CA), California Girls Live (CA), GC3 Hoops Summer Invitational (AZ), I Mua Invitational (HI), Pangos All-American Camp (NV), Hoopers Only Queenz of the City (AZ), West Coast Jamboree (CA), Nike Tournament of Champions (AZ), Jam On It: Pacific Rim Championships and Tribe Athletics Native American Junior Nationals (AZ).
I got to travel quite a bit and was able to build relationships and evaluate more talent. I am truly grateful for the many blessings that the Lord showered onto me in 2023. I look forward to making 2024 great. I had an interesting text which I thought I would share with everyone.
A parent reached out to me and asked this question, “You’re based in Arizona, why do you cover other states?” This was a valid question. The reason I cover out-of-state talent is to help provide exposure to those student athletes, gain professional development of evaluating student athletes by evaluating student athletes that I have not seen, improve my evaluating accuracy and skills, and to provide accurate insight on college recruitment for Arizona student athletes. Besides social media and an online digital magazine, I am always looking to create new avenues to provide exposure for student athletes. With the help of my technology support team (Jeff & Ty) I launched the GC3 Hoops YouTube Channel. The channel will be home to the GC3 Hoops Podcast in which I interview student athletes, coaches, and professionals from around the women’s basketball industry. This is a must watch as there is much valuable information and insight for parents and aspiring student athletes. On top of the podcast, I decided to start live broadcasting the game of the week. As time goes, the GC3 Hoops Platform will continue to be a one stop shop for women’s basketball exposure. I look forward to continuing to reach new heights in 2024.
