The 3rd Annual GC3 Hoops Summer Invitational kicks off Friday, June 9, 2023 at Poston Butte High School. The event has been a marquee scholastic girls basketball tournament during the June-ball period providing exposure to student athletes with numerous media outlets and college coaches in attendance. New for this year’s tournament includes an expanded field from 16 to 40 teams including two teams from New Mexico and Oklahoma.
The 40 teams in the field have been divided into five brackets: Premier Mitsubishi, Hoopers On1y, Sabrina Deitchler State Farm, Real Broker Realty, and The Road to Inner Peace. Each team will play four games over the course of the tournament. The five brackets have been named after the bracket sponsors. Other sponsors include Gatorade, Free Yourself Pest Control, Burrito Express, The Gym Bar and Grill, Tribe Athletics Sports Apparel, Bytewise, and Gifted Basketball.
Gifted Basketball is providing the official game basketballs for the tournament. No other scholastic tournament during the June-ball period in Arizona has an official game ball. Gifted Basketball is an up and coming manufacturer of high quality game basketballs at a competitive price point. We are excited to partner with companies who believe in the mission of the GC3 Hoops Platform for Female Student-Athletes.
Gatorade has announced to be the official hydration partner of the GC3 Hoops Summer Invitational. Hydration is essential for helping your athlete(s) stay in the game and compete at their best, which is why we’re proud to have Gatorade available on the sidelines at the GC3 Summer Invitational. Check out this video to learn more about why it’s important for your team to Rehydrate, Replenish and Refuel when they play.
This event will be well attended by major media outlets to include Overtime Jimmy, Arizona Preps, Prep Hoops Girls, Tyrick Films, Visualz by Charlz, Reel Team Six, Timeout Arizona, Chapter Next Sports Photography, New Horizon Media, Supremacy Sports Media & Entertainment, Mitchell Sports Consulting, Next Bench, Niciah Artistry Sports, and the VB Network. Besides the media outlets, multiple colleges have RSVP’d to evaluate players. This event will create lasting impressions and experiences for all involved. We urge the basketball community to come out and support these student athletes on June 9th and 10th.
