SCOTTSDALE, AZ — GC3 Hoops proudly announces the 2nd Annual Road 2 Natty’s, a premier youth basketball tournament and exposure event taking place June 19–21, 2026 in Scottsdale, Arizona. This highly anticipated event serves as a qualifier for the Tribe Athletics Junior Nationals, providing a unique and powerful platform for Native American and Polynesian student-athletes to compete, represent their culture, and gain national exposure.
Designed to elevate underrepresented talent in the basketball space, the Road 2 Natty’s brings together teams from across the region and beyond for a weekend of high-level competition, community pride, and opportunity. The tournament is open to boys and girls teams in 5th through 12th grade divisions and guarantees each team a minimum of three games.
“This event is about more than basketball—it’s about representation, culture, and giving these athletes a stage to be seen and respected,” said George “GC3” Courtney III, founder of GC3 Hoops. “We’re proud to create opportunities that not only showcase talent but also bring communities together.”
The Road 2 Natty’s is especially significant as it represents the final opportunity for teams to qualify for a free team entry into the Tribe Athletics Junior Nationals, making the stakes higher than ever. Championship teams will earn their bid, while top-performing teams will receive awards for 1st and 2nd place finishes.
To maintain the integrity of competition, the event enforces strict eligibility requirements. Participation is limited to eligible student-athletes only—no post-grad, graduated, or reclassified players are permitted. All teams must verify eligibility at check-in by providing CDIB documentation, Tribal ID, and report cards.
With a $350 team entry fee, the event offers not only competitive gameplay but also valuable exposure through GC3 Hoops’ extensive media coverage and scouting presence.
